Once I have joined, are there any more payments required to complete my Continuing Professional Development (CPD)?
All you pay is an inclusive fee starting from as little as $10/month membership which includes all your CPD activities on the website (excluding e-Seminars,) your online Evidence Portfolio, educational downloads, up to date articles on a wide range of nursing topics, interactive forum discussions with members, a variety of task demos and much more!
Is my membership valid for a calendar year or from the date of my Nurses for Nurses Network registration?
If you have opted to pay yearly then, your membership is active for 12 months from the date we receive payment. If you signed up and paid for your membership on February 8th, 2015, your membership is valid until February 8th, 2016.
Do I need an email address to join the Nurses for Nurses Network?
Yes, you will need a valid email address as your email address is your login to the member’s area of the website. We email directly to you regular updates on upcoming webinars, nursing information and everything else that is happening to keep you up to date. You can obtain an email address for free. We recommend either Microsoft Outlook (previously known as Hotmail) or Gmail (Google), but there is a variety of free email accounts available. What are my AHPRA requirements?
Nurses and Midwives are required to undertake 20 hours of Continuing Professional Development. If you are a Nurse and a Midwife, you will be required to undertake 40 hours. We recommend you visit the following websites for more comprehensive information on your AHPRA registration requirements:
Do all CPD activities comply with AHPRA requirements?
All CPD comply with AHPRA requirements. Our CPD sessions at a minimum equate to 1 hour of CPD. Once you have completed your evaluation, you will receive a CPD certificate that is stored on the website and can be printed or be included in your online Professional Portfolio that you can present to AHPRA should you be audited.
What type of activities do you provide?
As everyone’s learning style is different, we offer a fantastic range of engaging and different activities, including interactive live webinars, recorded webinars, watch a video and complete a quiz, read an article or document and complete a quiz, plus loads of articles and information on a range of nursing topics.

How do I keep track of all my CPD activities?
We provide you with an online Evidence Portfolio that you can create a Resume for a job application or an Evidence Portfolio should you be audited by AHPRA. You can also print your certificates and you are required to keep your CPD evidence for at 5 least years.
How do I receive my CPD certificates?
Once you’ve completed an education session you will receive a CPD certificate. Your CPD certificates will be stored on the website where you have access to them while you are a financial member of the Nurses for Nurses Network. You can choose which ones you’d like to include in your online Evidence Portfolio.
Is there a limit to the number of CPD activities I can undertake?
As a financial Member, you can undertake as many CPD sessions as you like, whenever you like and however you like. You can also decide which ones you’d like to include in your online Evidence Portfolio.
As a Free Subscriber, you can access and complete three (3) continuing professional development learning sessions and receive your first certificate for free. Should you, however, wish to generate a certificate of completion for the additional two (2) CPD sessions for your personal records, a $15 administration fee will be applied for each certificate. When you have no free sessions remaining you can only watch/do the ones you started (the 3 free ones) or any that you have a paid certificate for.
Is my Nurses for Nurses Network membership a tax deduction?
Yes! Your membership is fully tax deductible as an education expense.
What are your payment options?
You can either pay online using a credit card or give us a call on 07 4151 3884 and we will be happy to process your payment over the phone.
How can I access the Nurses for Nurses Network?
You can access the Nurses for Nurses Network 24/7, 365 days a year via your computer, iPad or smart device (iPhone or Android).
Are Nurses for Nurses Network events tax deductible?
Education expenses can be a tax deduction however, we recommend that you seek advice from your tax accountant as to the extent that would be claimable for all events.
Are you required to be a member to attend Nurses for Nurses Network events?
Yes and No. We hold events that are open to non-members as well as Member only events.
I’m an Allied Health Professional, am I able to join the Nurses for Nurses Network?
Yes, you may join the Nurses for Nurses Network. Although we’re tailored for Nurses, we do provide a range of interesting information and topics that Allied Health Professionals would find relevant and useful.
